Rare Breed FRT-15L3® Single-Stage (3-Position) Forced Reset Trigger for the AR-15

Rare Breed FRT-15L3® — the original AR-15 forced reset trigger

Take your AR-15 to the next level with the official Rare Breed FRT-15L3®, the forced reset trigger that started it all. This drop-in, duty-grade, 3-position FRT trigger (Safe / Semi / FRT®) is 100%% manufactured and assembled in the USA, and it’s the single-stage, curved-shoe configuration of the trigger that defined the category. If you’ve been searching for an authentic AR-15 forced reset trigger for sale, this is the original, direct from the patent holder.

How the forced reset trigger works

In FRT® mode, the FRT-15L3® uses your firearm’s own cycling to drive the trigger forward into its reset position after every shot — so your next round is ready almost as soon as the gun is. The result is a dramatically faster, smoother and more consistent shooting cadence than a standard trigger. Crucially, it stays fully semi-automatic: the trigger fires one round per pull of the trigger, every time, and must fully reset before it can fire again. Want the details? Innovative design and features

• Single-stage, 3-position functionality: Safe, Semi and Forced Reset modes via an ambidextrous selector — switch from a conventional semi-automatic trigger to full FRT® performance with a flick of your thumb.
• Curved trigger shoe: the classic feel that indexes your finger naturally for fast, instinctive shooting.
• Effortless, drop-in installation: fits mil-spec AR-15 lowers with included anti-walk pins — no gunsmithing, fitting or machining required.
• Built for the range: faster, more consistent follow-up shots for competition, tactical training, or simply getting the most out of your AR-15.
