FRT shipping restrictions

Forced reset triggers are legal under federal law, but some states restrict them. Here’s exactly where we can and can’t ship, and what happens to orders placed from a restricted state.

We only ship FRTs to states where they are legal. If you place an order asking us to ship into a restricted state, we’ll cancel the order and refund you. It is your responsibility to know and follow the laws where you live.

States we do not ship FRTs to

We currently cannot ship forced reset triggers to the following states and jurisdictions:

Restricted — no shipping

  • California
  • Colorado
  • Connecticut
  • Delaware
  • Hawaii
  • Illinois
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • Oregon
  • Rhode Island
  • Washington
  • Washington, D.C.
No exceptions. We do not make exceptions for law enforcement officers (LEOs) or FFLs in restricted states.

How restricted orders are handled

  • We check the delivery state before processing and, for wholesale, before we quote.
  • Restricted orders are cancelled and refunded — we won’t ship into a state where FRTs are prohibited.
  • Laws change. We keep this list current to the best of our ability, but you are responsible for confirming your local law.

Check before you buy

Before ordering, review the current legal picture on our FRT legal status page and the state-by-state overview in FRT state laws. Questions about shipping to your state? Contact us and we’ll confirm.

Disclaimer. This page is general information, not legal advice. Firearm laws vary by state and locality and change over time. You are responsible for knowing and complying with all laws that apply where you live. See FRT legal status for more.
